Welcome! Welcome to the 2008 edition of the Avon High School �berBots Website. If you remember the 2007 version of this site, you will notice the many vast improvements that have been made. Quick details are now viewable on the front page, though if you need other parts of the site they are in the navigation bar up above. There is a feature to search related elements of the website, in case you forgot something. The calendar has been improved, and you can now locate events through the calendar. The media library actually contains media, is organized into easy-to-view playlists, and is overall a lot smoother than the previous one. We now have an official history page as well, to respect the roots from which this team evolved.
So whether you are an �berBot, a parent, or a sponsor, have a great 2008 season! We hope to see you at the meetings.

Medi2008 Convention

   Hey everybody,

     As you may or may not know, the ÜberBots have been invited to present at the Medi2008 Convention, this upcoming Tuesday and Wednesday (9/9 - 9/10) from 3:00pm - 7:00pm at the Hartford Convention Center. We will be bringing our robot, and will be given a 10 x 20 foot booth. This is a great opportunity for all, but especially to those those who are interested in the field of medicine, since many highly respected doctors will be attending the Convention. We will need people to talk about our program, as well as at least one 1st and 2nd driver.

     If you\'re interested in going, please e-mail Sirui Sun at sirui_sun@yahoo.com. Rides will be arranged via carpool/independent travel, since this is an outside of school activity. Also, be sure to wear your 2008 ÜberBots shirts!
